I’ve seen it time and again in my work as a counsellor and holistic wellbeing coach—it’s one of the simplest yet most powerful tools you can use to shift your mindset, boost your well-being, and create positive change in your life.

Now, I know what you might be thinking. . . How can saying ‘thanks’ to the universe actually change anything in my life? Trust me, I get it. When life feels hard, or when you’re stuck in a rut, the idea of gratitude can seem a little naive or out of reach. But gratitude isn’t about ignoring your struggles or pretending everything is perfect. It’s about choosing to focus on what’s good, even when things aren’t going exactly the way you want.
